LSH CoLAB is pleased to present MAD SKILLZ – A Group Exhibition featuring work by Frank Ryan, Molly Segal, Nick Taggart. Opening Sunday, November 10th 2019. Closing Sunday, December 1st 2019.
Each of the three artists in the exhibition possesses a level of technical skills rarely seen in contemporary art. Their respective skills are used as a launching point for their particular form of art making, as opposed to their skills being end points for creativity. Using traditional materials such as watercolor, graphite and gauche, these three artists’ work brings old world art techniques and skills to a new level of interest in contemporary art. Spanning generations, this show attempts to contextualize the artist’s skills in a fluid, contemporary art context.
